BOLD Journey Article Meet Dr. Faith Robertson

Updated: Dec 1

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Faith Robertson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dr. Faith, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I hear that question a lot. How did you find your purpose? In actuality, that’s really not how it’s done. In life, your purpose will find you. Wherever you desire to see the most change, whatever problem you’re created to solve, whatever gift, talent, or skill set you possess that will enhance another person’s life, that’s your purpose.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I retired from private practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon after 20 years. My retirement from private practice was not planned or calculated. I retired out of obedience to the call of God on my life. I have always had a passion to empower women and speak life into them. Prior to retiring from private practice, I had written my first book and was also public speaking in different secular and spiritual arenas. I didn’t quite understand at the time why God was leading me to get various coaching certifications but once I retired, it all made sense. As a makeup artist, brow specialist, and skin care enthusiasts, I decided to go back to school to become a licensed esthetician and create my own skin care line. I had my own personal battles with adult onset acne as well as hormonal skin issues and I wanted to be able to help other women combat those problems as well as age beautifully. TRUTH by Dr. Faith medical grade skin care made its debut in May of 2021 and is changing the game in aesthetics. Building my skin care line and my coaching business has not been easy but it’s been rewarding. Elevation N.O.W. Empowerment System is my online and in-person coaching program that helps women overcome fears, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs and gives them the tools and resources necessary to live a life of boldness and confidence and be all that God created them to be. Out of that coaching program, was birthed my in-person conference. My inaugural conference occurred in October of 2023, called “Elevation N.O.W…The Gathering 2023”. It was a huge success and it changed the lives of all who were in attendance. My team and I are currently gearing up for “Elevation N.O.W… UNSTOPPABLE 2024”, which will take place in Dallas Texas on October 25th and 26th! Early registration for this amazing, life-changing event will open on April 1st, 2024. I’m proud to announce that I have formed my non-profit called Project ELEVATE. Our mission is to foster Education, Liberation, Esteem-building, Vision clarity, Authenticity, Transformation, and Empowerment through Project ELEVATE. This nonprofit organization, with 501(c)(3) status in progress, stands on these seven key pillars to build and restore the lives and self-confidence of women from all walks of life.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?Three qualities that were most impactful on my journey to success are 1) Faith in God 2) Focus 3) Accountability

If I had to throw in another one, I would say the fourth one and probably one of the most important ones is clarity.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months? My biggest area of growth and improvement over the last 12 months has been learning to embrace the New ME. Every level of life is going to require a different version of you. You will learn and develop new skill sets and you will also be required to leave certain things behind. That includes people. I have made a lot of mistakes in my past and forgiving myself, learning from those mistakes, and building upon those lessons to make me a better person has been crucial to my success. I have grown to learn that people thrive on one’s authenticity, not their perfection.
